"Our Spring Cottage" is another design in our NEW JTD series, The Chickadee Seasonal Cottage Series. Follow this sweet chickadee couple through the seasons in different birdhouses.
 
In the series's SPRING installment, we have a very proud father checking on the new hatchlings inside the "spring cottage".  This gives momma a much-needed rest as she drinks in the essence of the vibrant flowers below.  The bright, springtime colors in this design will surely bring a fresh airiness to any room.
 
The finished dimension of the cheerful seasonal wall hanging is 10 1/2" X 22" (including the decorative scalloped edging).  Simple-sized pieces make this a fun one to stitch. 
 
You may also purchase the charming "Flower Garden" hanger to display "Our Spring Cottage" and other spring/summer projects. Sweet, delicate, but sturdily made by Ackfeld Manufacturing.  The removable rod allows you to easily slip on your sleeved project, or you could clip your finished piece onto it. The hanger fits projects up to 12" wide. You can hang it on a nail/hook at the center. It also comes with two mounting screws.  Click HERE to purchase the hanger.
 
              We have an upgrade $1.50 PASTEL BUTTON PACKAGE.  
 
Our kit contains ALL the WOOL you see. It also includes the BACKING wool, which is also the scalloped decorative edging. You will not need any more wool to complete this project as shown.  We have included a lot of our hand-dyed wool as well to give that springtime feel. Your 100% woven wool has already been felted for you and is of the best quality. We have done all the prep work for you to begin tracing and cutting your pieces.  On occasion we have to substitute discontinued wool.
 
Our kit does not include the BUTTONS or the floss/threads since these usually are personal choices of the stitcher. It also allows us to keep the kit more affordable if you already have a thread and button stash. If you order a kit from us, we will include a list of the floss and thread used to create the design shown.  
 
We do have an upgrade PASTEL BUTTON PACKAGE for the 14 springy pastel colored buttons pictured. You will see it in our OPTIONS menu.
